Husband and wife team
Successfully solving problems together for over a decade. We met back in 2010 on the shuttle between Austin and Texas State University where we both attended classes. Amber was studying to become a special education teacher and I (Ryan) studied Mass Communications.
Our history
While attending Texas State I took a job in Austin as a Tier 1 Helpdesk Engineer to pay for college. I have since worked my way up to Technical Account Manager, System Administrator, Sales Engineer and almost every other technical roll in the Managed Services space. The last few years I have worked as a Senior Customer Success Engineer for multiple international cybersecurity startups.
Amber, after realizing the Texas education system is a lost cause, has worked in the Financial (FinTech) and Insurance (Insurtech) industries as well as working as the Office Manager for a locally owned company in Austin. She plans to pick teaching back up as soon as we are established.
After a recent medical scare, we decided it was time to move to Vermont and start a business together. It is something we have been planning for years and it was time.
I grew up in Connecticut and moving to Vermont has been my dream since the day I moved to Texas over 25 years ago. Austin is a cool city. Vermont is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
